UPDATE: CR 110 Construction

Construction on CR 110 between HWY 79 and Limmer Loop should begin construction within a month according to Pete Correa, the assistant to the commissioner for Williamson County, Precinct Four. The contract for construction was recently awarded to Chasco Constructors after a bidding process that ended in September. The work on CR 110 north of Limmer Loop is in the planning phase and should begin a few weeks after the work starting at HWY 79 begins.

While previous plans called for a 6 lane road from HWY 79, the current plan will be a for 5 lanes – two each direction with a shared turn lane in the middle. The construction will also include a new bridge over the creek just north of HWY 79.

I asked Pete if a stop light would be added to the busy and dangerous intersection of CR 110 and HWY 79 and he said they had no control over that and it would be up to the state as HWY 79 is a state highway.
