Siena Halloween & October Happenings

The last couple weeks of October and Halloween are fun and busy times around Siena! Our whole family had a lot of fun last year trick-or-treating around the neighborhood – there was a lot of fun homes to visit! For trick-or-treating on Halloween, don’t forget to check out the Nextdoor Treat Map. Make sure to sign up your home if you will be giving away candy so people make sure to stop by!

Sweet Berry Farms, ‘Harvest of Fall Fun’

Our family’s favorite event all Fall. A little bit of a drive to Marble Falls (straight down 1431) but well worth the trip! Hayrides, pumpkin painting, face painting, pick your own flowers, get pictures with pumpkins and old farm trucks, feed the goats, horse rides, and go through the corn maze! 32nd Annual Hutto Olde Tyme Days Festival

Hutto Chamber of Commerce festival with over 150 food, craft and information vendors, a carnival, and tons of additional family fun entertainment. Saturday events include the Classic Car Show, parade, Miss Hutto Olde Tyme Days Pageant and concert with Tony Jackson. More info…

Round Rock’s Fall Fun Festival

The Fall Fun Festival 2017 hosted by Round Rock Parks and Recreation will take place and have carnival games for toddlers and preschoolers, hayrides, cookies and punch and fun entertainment for all to enjoy. The theme for this year’s Fall Fun Festival is Dr. Seuss. More Info…

23rd Annual Hairy Man Festival

The Brushy Creek MUD is hosting their 23rd Annual Hairy Man Festival and have planned a fun-filled day of food, arts and crafts fair, children’s activities, special performances, and live music! Participate in our costume contest, trick or treating in the park scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating, train rides, Halloween themed crafts, scary snacks station, and the Haunted House! There will be several local non-profit organizations raising money for a good cause by providing activities and delicious food! Touch a Truck Event

The City of Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department will hold a FREE Touch a Truck event at Old Settlers Park for kids of all ages! Name a child who wouldn’t love to climb aboard a fire truck, big rig or bulldozer! Touch a Truck provides a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types – public service, emergency, utility, construction, transportation, delivery and just plain cool – all in one place. We have been to this FREE event a number of times and our kids have loved it!
