The Siena Round Rock neighborhood is a new development located in Round Rock, TX. For the quiet weekends and evenings spent at home, Siena offers its residents an Olympic sized pool with splash pad and connected pavilion, kids playground, basketball court, soccer field, and miles of hike and bike trails. Currently, a second kids playground and pool is being constructed in the section north of Limmer Loop.
Siena Round Rock TX residents have plenty of shopping options with a Walmart with 1 mile and 3 HEB grocery stores within a 5 minute drive, including a brand new HEB at Gattis School Rd and 130. The University Commons are a 12 min drive away down 1431 and include an IKEA, another HEB, the Round Rock Premium Outlets and a Bass Pro Shop. Lowes and Home Depot are a just a 3 minute drive in to Hutto from Siena and the Stone Hill Shopping Center is 7 min down 130 and includes the closest Target, Best Buy and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Siena Round Rock is not without great food options as well! There are plenty of chain fast food and sit-down restaurants both east and west on 79 as well as Austin originals within 10 minutes like Chuy’s, Torchy’s Tacos, Mighty Fine, Hop Doddy and Cover 3. The closest kid-friendly restaurants are Hat Creek Burgers and Kerby Lane Cafe, both with playgrounds for your kids to enjoy. One of my local Round Rock favorites is Greenhouse Local Craft Food on Old Settlers Blvd and in Hutto there is the Texan Cafe and Pie Shop. Looking for something in particular? Drop me a note and I’ll give you a great recommendation!
Old Settlers Park is just over a mile from Siena Round Rock and is a jewel for the city of Round Rock with over 645 acres of fields, ponds, sports fields (football, baseball, soccer, tennis courts, and frisbee golf) playgrounds and almost 4 miles of trails. The park also includes a water park and hosts numerous community events from the Trail of Lights at Christmas, concerts, movie night and races and is connected directly to Dell Diamond, the home for the Triple-A Round Rock Express.
Directly across from Old Settlers Park, Kalahari is building a huge complex with a resort and 1000-room conference center that will be a boom for the local community.
Besides those, there is local bowling, movies, mini-golf, go-carts and many more events or entertainment options. Looking for something else or an activity for a specific age group? Drop me a note and I’d be happy to help!
