Hutto HEB Grand Opening

The HEB plus! that has been under construction for many months will be opening this Wednesday, November 16. After a very long wait, Hutto will finally have its own HEB! The grand opening ceremony will be held at 8am on Wednesday. The official address of the new store is 5000 Gattis School Rd, Hutto, TX 78634. HEB officials have also stated that this new opening will not affect operations at the HEB currently open at Gattis School Rd and Red Bud Ln.

The new store will be 121,000 square feet which is a little larger than the store on University Ln and a little smaller that the HEB plus! on Hwy 79, both in Round Rock. A recent amendment was made to the agreement between HEB and the developer and the city of Hutto to allow for more infrastructure improvements. This amendment also rebates the stores sales tax owed to the city of Hutto at 60% or $9,309,270, whichever is less.
