If you have driven on US 79 recently, you probably saw the huge sign go up across from Salt Lick for the new Kalahari Resort. This will eventually be replaced with a large electric sign once approved by the City of Round Rock. The Kalahari Welcome Center is now open and has a full mock-up of the indoor water park will be built as part of the new resort. I highly recommend stopping by to check it out – it is quite impressive!
